Shipping

How much will it cost to ship my order?

We offer free shipping on all orders to the countries which we operate in.

We have printing facilities in the UK, USA, The Netherlands (covering the EU) and Australia.

If you require any additional information regarding where we can ship to, including help regarding destinations that we currently don't serve, please contact customercare@mapelio.com

How will my order be shipped?

All orders are shipped using tracked delivery services with a reputable provider in the country where the order is being delivered to.

Fine art prints are packaged in a strong cardboard tube, inclusive of tissue paper to protect the print in transit. All framed prints are robustly packaged with commercial grade bubble wrap and sealed in a strong cardboard package, together with cardboard protection on each corner of the frame.

When will my order arrive?

We aim to print / frame and package each item within 72 hours of an order being made. Shipping usually takes between 2-5 days.

You will be able to track the progress of your shipment via the tracking code provided by Mapelio.

Will I need to pay local tax or duties on my order?

As your order is printed as close to your delivery address as possible, there are usually no additional taxes or duties to pay. However, as international trade regulations change (for non-UK orders), you may be liable for any local taxes or duties in your country. Any such charges are your responsibility.

Returns

Returns policy (unpersonalised artwork)

You've worked hard for your money so if you have made a purchase but then change your mind, please feel reassured that we will refund you, hassle-free.

To make a return, simply email us at customercare@mapleio.com within 14 days of receiving your order, with your order number and what you’d like to send back, and we'll send over the returns instructions.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be sent back unused and in its original packaging. Your return should include a written or printed order reference so that we can quickly locate and speed up your return.

Returned items will be reimbursed the full purchase price only upon arrival at the returns address, and so we recommend using a trackable delivery service.

Please note that unless the item is faulty, the outwards and return shipping costs are your responsibility.  Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or any other address that may be printed on the original shipping label. I regret that I cannot accept returns that have been damaged in transit on departure from your address to Mapelio.

All returns must be in their original condition with no visible or cosmetic damage to the print, frame, glass, perspex, hangers or any other component of the product.

If an item has arrived to your designated postal address damaged, please take photographs immediately on receipt of the item and send them to customercare@mapelio.com, and we'll take care of the rest.  Where damage has occurred in transit to your address, we'll gladly send a free replacement.

Returns policy (personalised artwork)

If you have purchased a customised print, it is not possible to revise or cancel your order. In the event that you wish to modify the delivery address, please contact customerservice@mapelio.com as soon as possible.

Mapelio are not obliged to make such modifications to your order, but will work hard to make any changes where we can.

Due to the nature of each custom map being personalised to your preferences, Mapelio are unable to offer refunds for any customisable product.

Replacement of Products and credits to a Customer's account for Products claimed as damaged or not received are subject to Mapelio investigation and discretion. If a Product is missing, damaged or subject to print error, Mapelio will replace the affected Product with a like-for-like replacement.

Mapelio will review replacement of Products within 14 days of the date that an order was placed.  Should you wish to raise a request for a replacement, please contact customercare@mapelio.com

For the avoidance of doubt, Mapelio is not responsible when a Customer has provided incorrect information, such as the wrong shipping name or address.

How do I cancel an order?

Due to the fast turnaround of our printing team, it can be difficult to cancel an order before it reaches the manufacturing process.  If you need to cancel an order, please get in touch straightaway by emailing our customer service team at customercare@mapelio.com. 

If an order cannot be cancelled before production has started, you will need to follow the returns procedure.

What happens if my artwork arrives damaged?

We're pleased to say that due to our robust packaging process, we've never had any of our artwork damaged in transit!

However, if your artwork arrives damaged in any way, please take pictures of the damaged area of the artwork and packaging within 48 hours of receiving your artwork, and email them to customercare@mapleio.com and we'll typically arrange for a replacement to be sent at no cost.

Payment options

How can I pay for my order?

We accept all major credit/debit cards and PayPal. Payment will be taken at the time of your order. Please note that for international orders, exchange rate fluctuations may in some instances result in the final chargeable amount differing slightly, and any such difference is the responsibility of the card holder.

How will my print be framed?

All our framing is done by professional framers and bespoke to your order. We offer a variety of different frame styles, together with passepartout mounting on selected designs.
